This was just a quick shoot I did for a work project. Julie is my very photogenic coworker who was a pleasure to take pictures of.  Thanks for being such a good sport Julie! Here are my favorites.

The Shutter Clique - Models and Super Heroes

The Shutter Clique, is a group of photographers from Bakersfield who began meeting in September 2009 and now meet once a month to share their love and knowledge of photography. The following photos are my favorite from the first two photo shoots with the Shutter Clique.  I am very excited at how much I have learned since joining this group.  I am mostly excited at the improvement in my ability as a photographer. I look forward to keep getting better.

Kern River Valley

The weather was finally in the 80's, and it was a beautiful day to be outdoors.  I took my little boy on a drive and a walk through the Kern River Valley.  It was very nice and relaxing to get away from the city and enjoy God's beautiful creations. Sometimes we don't realize how beautiful our surroundings can be. Here are my favorite pictures from today.
