Sunset Off Hwy 178 | Bakersfield Photographer

These are some pictures I took off Hwy 178, at canyon and the Kern River.  It is nice to be outdoors and see the beautiful colors the sun paints on the sky during sunset. The clouds added that special touch.  All of these images would make a great backdrop to a portrait session. Book your session today!

Nature Photo Outing | Bakersfield Photographer

My friend Mari and I took a quick drive toward Buena Vista Lake and wondered around to see what we could find to shoot. We found some interesting things to shoot among dry dirt and weeds. Here are my favorite images.

Panorama of Graffiti Art | Bakersfield Photographer

Last August I was wondering the streets of San Francisco searching for subjects to shoot.  A man I met near the Bart station lead me to this graffiti wall art. He had said his friends painted this and he was very proud of them.  This was at night, I was shooting with my 50mm lens, and there was no way I was going to get the entire graffiti art in the frame. I took three separate photos used Photomerge in Photoshop and this is the finished Panorama. Photomerge is simple to use and awesome! I'm looking forward to other opportunities to use it.

Dodgers Stadium | Bakersfield Photographer

Taken with my Tamron 18-200 at f/13 1/20 ISO 800

One of my dreams is to travel and get pictures from places all around the world.  Who knows I may want to visit and get pictures of all the MLB stadiums around the US.  Until that dream is realized I will continue to photograph the places I visit near by.

Dodgers Stadium is one of my favorite place to go. There's nothing like enjoying a Dodger game with my son.

Word Play Featuring The Shutter Clique at The Foundry

I had the opportunity to display one of my photographs at The Foundry for the exhibit Word Play featuring The Shutter Clique.  The object was to pick one positive word and one negative word and portray them in a photograph.  This is the photograph with my two words War and Accept.

San Francisco 49ers at Candlestick Park

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of attending my very first NFL game. It was quite an experience. I enjoyed watching my favorite team beat the Seattle Seahawks but most of all enjoyed all the great photo opportunities.
